DTG (Direct to Garment) printing is a relatively new and rapidly evolving method of decorating t-shirts and other compatible clothing. Direct to Garment Printing, unlike Screen Printing, allows you to print full-colour, high-resolution graphics on t-shirts without the design colour or order quantity limitations that comes with Screen Printing.

DTG Printing is a large commercial version of a home or office inkjet printer that can also print white and coloured ink onto 100% cotton t-shirts, hoodies and other garments. Because DTG machines use high-resolution digital printheads, they can achieve a great level of detail in both photographic and artwork related images.

The key advantage of DTG Printing over Screen Printing is that it can print even one full colour design onto a garment without the screen origination and setup costs associated with Screen Printing.
